Editing PES 2008 Replay Logos

This is one of the simplest and fastest mods you can do and the results are pretty spectacular. If like me, you get tired of the boring vodaphone/pes2008 replay logo, then you would quickly be thinking about changing them. Well this can be done quickly and effectively by following a few simple steps listed below.

Disclaimer: Always back up original files when undertaking modifications to respective game files. I take no responsibility of any malfunctioning of the game after such changes are undertaken, insert modifications at your own risk.

Changing the replay logo

1. Open rv_e.img using Game Graphic Studio, when warning message comes, click no.

2. Scroll to misc_50.bin file from left files and drag the 3rd logo image into the central pane.

3. Right click on central image and choose 'Open..'

4. Insert one of my replay logos from the pack here.

5. Click on the bright green colour in the Palette Management.

6. You need to set its transparency so the bright green colour is transparent, slide the opacity slider to 0.

7. Now you need to blend this green colour so it cannot be seen, in this example I made it white.

8. Click on the chequered button to view the alpha mask, if you done it right, you should see black depicting areas opaque, (i.e. the logo) and white areas depicting image areas which are transparent (i.e the green colour).

9. Now you can click the button again to return to the image and drag this image from the central pane into the 3rd slot in misc_50.bin

10 . All done, you can close GGS, it autosaves the new file.

11. Load the game and enjoy new replay logos!
